How automated assistance is used in chambers, and the limits placed on it.
Selected summaries, English–Hindi translations, plain-language explanations of orders and first drafts of correspondence may be prepared with the assistance of automated language tools used internally by chambers.
Automated tools are not used to give legal advice, to decide the conduct of a matter, to settle the text of a pleading as filed, or to send any communication. No automated tool has the ability to alter case records or contact a client.
Automated output can be incomplete, out of date or wrong, and can state citations that do not exist. Every proposition, citation, date and figure is verified against the official report, the certified copy or the original document before it is relied upon.
All AI-assisted material is treated as a draft. Human verification by a qualified legal professional is required before any legal reliance, advice, filing or client communication.
Chamber staff are instructed not to place privileged or identifying client material into automated tools except where the engagement and the service permit it. Internal AI activity is logged for oversight, recording who used which feature and when, rather than the confidential text itself.
Any public page, summary or translation that has been produced with AI assistance is reviewed by the advocate before publication. If you notice an error in published material, please write to chambers and it will be corrected.
